this was my entry for the art contest at Summer of Sonic 2013
I didn´t win, but it was fun to draw
I drew everything with wax crayons because they only had some bad felt tips there and the pic would have looked a bit crappy X3
took about 3 hours from sketching to coloration
sonic at city escape and shadow at radical highway and also Metal Sonic, all three with a chaos emerald

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactOk this is my very first ever critique !
So can I just say this is brilliant ! the fact that you used crayons is mind blowing, that must have been so difficult to work with ! The shading is very well done along with the characters and expressions! The poses are done really well here too !

The writing is a bit unflattering but taking into consideration this was all done with crayon this is a really impressive piece of work! Crayons are a nuisance to work with in my opinion but you've really proved a great piece can be done with them!
